When our founding attorney, Jasmit Dhaliwal, was a child, she experienced firsthand how difficult immigration can be for both immigrants and their families. Her father struggled for years to get permanent residency. Her father’s immigration struggles meant he spent years away from their family and Jasmit was unable to meet her family in India until she was sixteen. This experience shapes the way attorney Dhaliwal and our team approaches immigration and family law issues.
