Biography
Najmu Mohseen graduated from Southwestern University in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Ms. Mohseen graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Ms. Mohseen participated, among several other things, in the Immigrant Rights Clinic where she had the opportunity to work on multiple humanitarian asylum cases and assist with an amicus curiae brief submitted by the Clinic in Trump v. Hawaii.
Prior to joining the Law Office of Jasmit Dhaliwal, Ms. Mohseen was an Equal Justice Works Fellow focusing on religious freedom in prisons and detention centers. Since joining the Law Office of Jasmit Dhaliwal, Ms. Mohseen has assisted clients in a wide array of cases ranging from deportation defense, divorce, custody matters, and beyond. Ms. Mohseen brings her personal background coupled with prior legal experience with vulnerable populations to practice law in a client-centric and trauma-informed manner.
